Project Engineer Location: Nottingham Salary: £50k to £60k DOE ? Mechanical

Project Engineer required for our client, a Midlands based Mechanical and Electrical design and build contractor operating across industrial and commercial sectors. The Mechanical Building Services Project Engineer will be responsible for the project management, coordination, installation and commissioning of Mechanical building services systems, specifically heating, pipework, etc. within commercial and industrial buildings, with project values ranging from approximately £50k up to £5m+. The role includes developing system specifications, preparing construction drawings and documentation and coordinating contractors and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. The position will be based from the Nottingham office, so candidates must live within a commutable distance. Mechanical Building Services Project Engineer Position Overview Mechanical Building Services Project Engineer required to manage mechanical projects from inception through to completion, including design coordination, cost control, subcontractor management, commissioning, and client liaison across commercial and industrial developments. Projects are biased towards commercial and industrial heating / pipework. Mechanical Building Services Project Engineer Position Requirements HND, HNC, Degree in Mechanical Building Services or equivalent experience Approximately 10+ years' experience within the Mechanical / building services design & build industry, specifically commercial heating. Strong understanding of building services / mechanical systems and principles Experience or understanding of AutoCAD and BIM software desirable Experience managing projects including cost control and subcontractors Ability to prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and within a project team environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Based within commutable distance of Nottingham Mechanical Building Services Project Engineer Position Remuneration £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
