Mechanical Project Manager The Mechanical Project Manager will be expected to manage the successful running & completion of multiple projects, developing/maintaining relationships with Clients and working collaboratively with other departments internally such as the commercial team. This is a pivotal role to oversee the full lifecycle of projects and you will be the main point of contact for Clients from the stage of securing the project to completion.
Mechanical Project Manager Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical ProjectManager will be expected to carry out a number of tasks both on site and within the office. Many of these tasks will be aided by the use of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Projects etc., to produce correspondence and documentation. General tasks will include, but not be limited to:
* Regular site visits monitoring work progress and ensuring the quality of work is to the acceptable standard
* Compiling, maintaining & issuing of programmes
* Taking-off /scheduling materials and assisting with procurement
* Analysis of labour requirements and placement & control of labour and managing associated costs in relation to budgets
* Scheduling sub-contractors rates, in conjunction with the above
* Assisting with reviewing, authorising and scheduling sub-contractor monthly payments, ensuring that invoiced is reflective of work completed
