Mechanical Site Manager

This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.
Main Duties
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, etc.
On-site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour.
Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
Manage relevant external correspondence.
Order all day-to-day site materials.
Update appropriate information to progress report.
Maintain K&M Document Management System.
Manage project-specific scheduling.
Communicate changes to the Project team.
Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.
Qualifications
Relevant trade qualifications in or further education qualification in mechanical building services.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role.
People management experience.
Project Management experience beneficial.
Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Willingness to do some travel if/when required.
