Our client are seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors to oversee projects within the Water Sector.

As the work will primarily be working on Severn Trent Water, candidates will ideally be based in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire.
Ideally you will have previous water sector experience, however candidates with transferable industrial experience can be considered.

Role Overview Van based role covering multiple sites within the Severn Trent region Paid door - door Van/Fuel Card/Tools/PPE all provided 40 hour week, anything worked after this is paid at OT OT available paid at x1.5 & x2 respectively.
Basic hourly rate is £19.03 Essential Qualifications CSCS SSSTS or SMSTS NVQ Lv.3 in a relevant engineering field.
UK Driving Licence EUSR Water Hygiene (Desirable) First Aid (Desirable) Confined Space (Desirable) Job Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the site mechanical team, including task allocation, tooling management, and handling paperwork.
Lead inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks for site teams.
Offer first-line support on site-specific health, safety, and compliance matters.
Oversee site-based activities, including client communication, providing daily updates to the Project Manager, and reporting any site-related issues.
Identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure all tasks are performed in full compliance with Health and Safety standards, risk assessments, and applicable regulations.
Report and document any incidents or near misses occurring under your supervision.
Communicate with the client and/or main contractor as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support and guidance to site teams. xehkeey
Ensure the appropriate permits are in place and that related documentation is completed accurately and to a high standard.
