Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Receptionist located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for overseeing front desk operations, coordinating appointments, managing patient inquiries via phone, e-mail and in-person, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. The role also includes administrative duties such as handling medical records, ensuring accurate data entry, and supporting the overall efficiency of the medical office.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficient in appointment scheduling with a solid understanding of medical terminology
• Strong Phone Etiquette and excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role within a medical or clinical setting
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confident using healthcare software systems; experience with Cliniko is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with both patients and clinical staff
• Responsible for stock control and inventory management
• Experience handling insurance payments and reconciling accounts
• Managing and processing invoices and payments
• Assisting with the creation of social media content in line with the clinic’s brand
• Supporting the general maintenance, presentation, and day-to-day upkeep of the clinical space

Salary range - £23k-£29k per year.
