Benefits: * Competitive salary of up to £45,000, with an OTE of approximately £52,000, depending on experience and qualifications * 30 days holiday inclusive of public holidays, with additional leave based on service * Company pension scheme and health cash plan to support your wellbeing * Performance-based bonuses and incentives * Cycle to work scheme and on-site parking facilities * Long service awards and colleague recognition programmes * Referral bonuses for successful introductions Duties of the MET Technician: * Accurately dismantle and reassemble vehicles in accordance with repair estimates and manufacturer guidelines * Refit and reconnect electrical, mechanical, and trim components with precision and attention to detail * Support the inspection process by identifying additional damage or parts requirements during dismantling and repair stages * Ensure all vehicle repairs meet high technical and cosmetic standards * Check parts availability, match repairs accurately to estimates, and manage unused components appropriately * Conduct thorough quality checks and safety inspections prior to vehicle handover * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment in compliance with health and safety standards * Identify and report discrepancies or additional repair needs during the process * Assist the workshop team in meeting deadlines and maintaining efficiency as an MET Technician * Follow all health and safety policies, use PPE correctly, and promote safe working practices at all times Requirements: * Minimum of three years’ experience in vehicle dismantling and reassembly within an accident repair environment * Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and trim vehicle components * Ability to interpret repair estimates, technical instructions, and manufacturer guidelines * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality * Capable of working independently and as part of a team * Good understanding of health and safety responsibilities in the workshop environment * IMI accreditation in MET is highly desirable * Experience in a bodyshop or accident repair centre advantageous * Familiarity with modern vehicle systems and repair procedures preferred If you are keen to develop your career as a Bodyshop MET Technician and meet the requirements listed, we encourage you to apply.
