  • Working hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday No weekends
Duties:
  • Accurate removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on vehicles
  • Identifying hidden damage post-strip and assisting with parts and labour estimation
  • Ensuring all repairs are carried out safely while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Working efficiently to complete tasks within set deadlines and manufacturer standards
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and supporting colleagues during busy periods
  • Prioritising workload to meet customer expectations and delivery times
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and following health and safety protocols
Candidate Specification:
  • No formal qualifications are required; experience is more important
  • Ideally, prior experience as a Vehicle MET Technician or similar role
  • Recognised qualification in automotive MET/vehicle body repair or working towards IMI qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • Proven track record in vehicle body repair, strip, and fit, or mechanical background
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork
