5:30pm (40 hours) About the Role We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Polisher to join our production team. You will be responsible for finishing metal components to a high professional standard, ensuring every piece meets our quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Polishing:
Finish metal components to various specifications, including but not limited to satin, mirror, and bright finishes. Preparation:
Perform grinding and deburring to remove imperfections and smooth out weld seams. Quality Control:
Conduct thorough inspections of finished parts to ensure they are free of defects. Safety & Maintenance:
Adhere to all health and safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace. Collaboration:
Work closely with the Production Manager and wider manufacturing team to meet daily targets. What Were Looking For Experience:
Proven experience as a Metal Polisher within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience in polishing marine, food and/or pharmaceutical components will be advantageous. Technical Skill:
Proficiency with hand tools, grinders, and polishing wheels. Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Dexterity:
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precision work. Attitude:
