We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, particularly MIG welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. The successful applicant will work with both hand and power tools, demonstrating precision and attention to detail in all tasks. Working hours are Mon-Thurs 7.30am - 4.30pm and a 1.30pm finish on Fridays. Pay rate is £13.50 per hour

Responsibilities Operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to prepare materials for welding. Conduct quality inspections on completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform basic mathematical calculations to measure and cut materials accurately. Welding (MIG) thin steel tubing.

Skills Proficiency in MIG welding techniques; experience with stick welding is advantageous. Ability to fabricate metal parts according to specifications. Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience working with sheet metal is preferred.
