Job Description

We’re recruiting an experienced MIG/TIG Welder for a market-leading manufacturer of special-purpose food machinery based in Gamlingay. This is a permanent, full-time MIG/TIG Welding role offering competitive pay, overtime, and excellent job security.

As a MIG/TIG Welder, you will work on stainless steel fabrication (1.0mm–12mm), including pipework and purge welding, using MIG/TIG welding processes daily. This role requires the ability to read engineering drawings, work to tight tolerances, and operate fabrication and sheet-metal machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• TIG welding on stainless steel components
• Pipework and purge welding
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• General fabrication work
• Using sheet-metal and fabrication machinery

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven MIG/TIG Welder experience
• Strong stainless steel welding background
• Ability to work with 1.0mm–12mm thickness
• Understanding of tolerances and bend allowances
• Confident working from engineering drawings
