With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they deliver solutions to optimise port operations worldwide.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Field Service Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in servicing and maintaining mobile cranes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.ResponsibilitiesConduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mobile cranes around the south of the UK to ensure safe and efficient operation.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical or hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.Perform upgrades, modifications, and installations as required to enhance crane performance and functionality.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate service activities and minimize downtime.Provide technical support and training to customers and onsite personnel to optimize crane operation and maintenance practices.Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment records.QualificationsMinimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Engineering discipline.Proven experience working with mobile and crawler cranes.Strong knowledge of crane systems, including mechanical, electrical or hydraulic components.Industry certifications or tickets related to crane maintenance and operation (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, IPAF).Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and team members.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Company van provided for travel to customer sites.Option of worldwide, international travel.Expense reimbursement for travel, accommodation, and meals.Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.ONLY APPLICANTS WITH CURRENT ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN THE UK CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION AS NO SPONSORSHIP IS AVAILABLE
