Location:Crawley Compensation:OTE £40,000 £45,000 per year Hours:Full-Time Driving License Required (6 points or Less) A growing and well-established engineering service business is seeking aMechanical Fitterto join its Doncaster team. Previous experience withhydraulics or hydraulic hoseswould be advantageous, although candidates with general mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply. The Role Following an initialfully paid two-week training program, the successful candidate will gain aCity & Guilds qualificationand receive the tools and support needed to succeed in the role. Once trained, the candidate will operate a company van, attending customer sites across the region to repair and maintain machinery, delivering high levels of service and technical support. Key Responsibilities Attend customer call-outs to diagnose and repair machinery Install, service, and replace hydraulic hoses and related components Promote company products and services to existing and prospective customers Maintain stock levels within the company service vehicle Carry out routine vehicle checks and ensure the van is clean, organised, and fully operational Complete all relevant paperwork and technical documentation accurately Support colleagues across the wider business when required Adhere to all health & safety policies and PPE requirements Candidate Requirements Mechanical fitting / maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude Experience with hydraulics or hoses advantageous but not essential Full UK driving licence required Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good manual dexterity and practical problem-solving skills Professional and reliable attitude Whats On Offer OTE £40,000 £45,000 per year Fully fundedCity & Guilds qualification Paid training programme Company van and tools provided Strong progression opportunities many senior leaders progressed internally Stable, growing business with long-term career prospects Apply Now This is anurgent requirement, and suitable applicants will be contacted promptly. xehkeey If you are mechanically minded and looking for a career with progression, training, and strong earnings, this is an excellent opportunity.
