The Company

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are partnered with a well-established national business within the plant hire sector, recognised for its high-quality equipment and excellent service across the UK.

With continued growth, they are now looking to bring in a Mobile Plant Technician to support operations across the Glasgow region.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of plant hire equipment across multiple customer sites.

Key duties include:

• Servicing and repairing a wide range of plant machinery
• Diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems
• Attending breakdowns and minimising downtime
• Working on excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, tower lights and trailers
• Carrying out planned maintenance and inspections
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience within plant hire, construction or related industries
• Is confident working independently in a mobile role
• Has strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Holds a full UK driving licence
• Takes pride in their work and customer interactions

• £34,000 – £38,000 basic
• Company van
• Overtime available (OTE £45k – £55k)
