MOT Technician
Location: Muswell Hill, London
Salary: £35,000 £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
- Monthly Performance Bonus (Post-Probation)

Our client is a well-established independent garage based in Muswell Hill, North London, specialising in high-end vehicles and delivering dealership-level customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a qualified and reliable MOT Technician to join our professional and friendly team.

The Role

This position will be primarily MOT focused, with occasional servicing and light fast-fit work. Heavy mechanical experience is not required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards

  • Identifying and reporting defects clearly and accurately

  • Performing light servicing and routine maintenance when required

  • Occasional fast-fit work (brakes, tyres, batteries, etc.)

  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer care

About You

  • Valid MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 required; Green RAG Score preferred)

  • A reliable, professional, and detail-oriented approach

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication skills

  • Pride in delivering high-quality work
