*Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester*

We are currently looking for an experienced full time vehicle technician and MOT Tester to join the DC Tyres team located in Castle Donington, Derby.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working within a vehicle workshop setting as a technician and (perhaps more recently) as an MOT Tester.

Ideally experience on both car and light commercials but not essential. (None MOT testers may still be considered).

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform MOT Inspections accurately and efficiently. * Servicing and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles as required. * Diagnostics and Fault finding * Maintain high standards of safety and compliance. * Support workshop operations

*Desired Experience and Qualifications;*

* Minimum 3 years experience * Level 3 qualified Light Vehicles * MOT smart card. * MOT Tester class 4,5 & 7 preferred * Full UK driving licence

*Working hours; *

* Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00 * Saturday 8:30 - 12.00 available on rota basis * Overtime is available and paid at time and a half (1.5 x the basic hourly rate) * No Sunday or Bank Holiday work

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: £35,360.00-£40,000.00 per year
