Our client is an established, international food related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area. The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in it's field with an annual turnover or £40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated and motivated team of around 80 staff. A further Multi-skilled Shift Engineer is required to join the engineering team of 6. (4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts) Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager the Multi-skilled engineerwill be responsible for the following across the site: Providing both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance Maintaining a variety of Production Machinery including Conveyors, Packaging Equipment, Weighing Machinery, Bagging Machinery, Labelling Equipment & Ovens Fault Finding both Electrically (PLC faultfinding)& Mechanically Assisting in the Installation of new machinery You will have experience working within a relevantfactory environment with the following skills/qualifications: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Experience Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications Fault Finding Ability both Electrically & Mechanically (4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts) Salary to suit experience 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Contributory pension, Employee discount, 4 x Life Assurance.
