The Opportunity

• Take ownership of HSE strategy across multiple manufacturing sites
• Influence and partner with senior stakeholders across operations, finance, and sustainability
• Build on an already solid foundation to enhance safety performance and environmental standards
• Operate with a high level of autonomy and visibility across the business

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and implementing health, safety & environmental policies and strategy
• Driving compliance and best practice across all sites
• Leading audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Investigating incidents and embedding preventative action plans
• Building and reporting on HSE KPIs to influence senior decision-making
• Coaching and supporting site teams to embed a proactive safety culture
• Leading emergency planning and ensuring robust procedures are in place

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in HSE leadership within FMCG or manufacturing
• Experience across multi-site operations or a large, complex single site
• Deep understanding of UK HSE legislation and compliance
• Proven ability to influence, engage and drive change across teams
• A confident, autonomous leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (or equivalent) – essential
• Environmental qualification (e.g. IEMA) – desirable

Location & Travel

This is a Midlands-based role with UK-wide travel.

Likely 3 days East Midlands, 1 day WFH, 1 day travel.
