The Role
Youll support the safe and efficient operation of a food-waste AD facility, delivering:
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Rapid breakdown response and fault finding
Electrical testing, repair and installation
Mechanical maintenance (pumps, valves, rotating equipment)
SCADA monitoring and process fault investigation
Contractor supervision and Permit-to-Work control
Continuous improvement and plant optimisation
This is not facilities maintenance. It is heavy plant, rotating equipment, automation and true process engineering within a regulated industrial environment.
What Were Looking For:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) Electrical qualification
17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Strong fault-finding capability across electrical and mechanical systems
CMMS experience and a structured PPM mindset
Confidence supervising contractors and operating under Permit-to-Work systems
A proactive, solution-led approach
