Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Stockport
Salary: £50,000 – £56,000 DOE + 9% Pension + Bonus + Overtime (1.5x / 2x)
Location: Stockport
Shift: 2 days / 2 nights, 4 off, with 18 days off every 7 Cycles = 90 days holiday plus your 4 off inbetween shifts
About the Company
My client is a leading FMCG manufacturing site with a strong focus on machinery, plant upgrades, and automation. They have a large, experienced maintenance team and are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the department
Role Overview
The successful multi-skilled maintenance engineer will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency and uptime. Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Working on conveyors, bearings, shafts, chains, sprockets, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors
Completing all maintenance logs and paperwork accurately
Requirements
To apply for this role, you should have:
Minimum of a NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment
Experience across mechanical and electrical systems is desirable
