The Role
A well-established manufacturing organisation is recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for its Telford site. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide day-to-day electrical and mechanical support to ensure plant, equipment, and installations operate safely, efficiently, and in line with quality requirements.
What will you be doing

Delivering reactive and planned maintenance across a busy manufacturing environment
*
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime
*
Maintaining and improving planned and preventative maintenance schedules
*
Logging all maintenance activity accurately on the maintenance management system
*
Liaising with manufacturing teams to support operational priorities
*
Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and site procedures
*
Identifying root causes of failures and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
*
Actively developing your skills and knowledge in line with legislation and best practice
What will you bring to the party
*
Relevant electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications (essential)
*
Experience working as a multiskilled maintenance engineer in manufacturing or production
*
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding capability
*
High attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
*
A proactive, team-focused approach with the confidence to work on your own initiative
*
A flexible and positive attitude with a commitment to quality and safety
