The Role: Music Teacher – Camden

As a Music Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the musical life of the school. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality and inspiring music curriculum that meets the needs of learners from Reception to Year 6.

You will be working in a Primary school located in the heart of Camden, who are committed to providing a rich and well-rounded education for all learners. A Music Teacher will be expected to:

* Planning and delivering age-appropriate music lessons that align with the National Curriculum

* Introducing students to core musical concepts, including rhythm, pitch, dynamics, tempo, and musical notation in a fun and accessible way

* Developing students' skills in singing, movement, and using classroom percussion instruments

* Creating opportunities for music-making through group work, improvisation, and composition activities

* Leading whole-school singing assemblies

* Organising and directing performances such as school productions, seasonal concerts, and class assemblies
