United by our purpose—growing a world of wellbeing and creating value for people and the planet—we’re a dynamic team of bold thinkers driven by values of courage and humanity. If you’re passionate about innovation, energized by purpose, and enjoy a good cup of tea (on the house!), you’ll feel right at home here.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a high-performing National Account Manager to lead our UK Wholesale channel. As the commercial owner of this strategically important channel, you’ll be fully accountable for developing and executing a winning strategy to deliver sustainable, profitable growth, from depots to fascia.
This role uniquely blends direct account management of major national wholesalers with oversight of our distributor-led business – requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, working cross-functionally to deliver against ambitious P&L targets. This is a standout opportunity for career growth—offering exposure to senior stakeholders, autonomy, access to cutting-edge learning platforms like Percipio AI, and global mobility within the world’s largest tea business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the Wholesale channel’s P&L goals.
- Lead the development and execution of the growth strategy for Wholesale, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Build strong, influential relationships with key customers and distribution partners to implement our category and commercial plans.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure compliance with terms.
- Analyse EPOS and financial data to inform plans and optimise performance.
- Accurately forecast sales volumes and meet the requirements of our S&OP process.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the UK&I team to align with broader business objectives.
- Be an active member of a high-performing, passionate, supportive and fun-loving sales team.
Key Stakeholders
- Daily interaction with Buyers, Distribution Partners, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams.
- Reports directly to the UK Head of ‘Other Channels’.
What We’re Looking For
- A results-driven, tenacious professional with a proven track record in managing wholesale accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen with exceptional negotiation, selling, and presentation skills (e.g. GAP trained).
- Analytical thinker with excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Agile, action-oriented and thrives under pressure.
- Highly collaborative team player who brings energy, focus, and resilience to their role.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to change.
- Customer-focused with a deep understanding of the UK Wholesale landscape.
- FMCG experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Wholesale experience required.
