You will play a key role in delivering structural designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting the successful delivery of projects across all stages.
Your responsibilities will include:
Producing structural designs and calculations for a variety of building projects
Preparing drawings, reports, and technical specifications
Assisting in the delivery of projects from concept design through to construction
Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other consultants
Attending site visits and project meetings
Supporting senior engineers in developing efficient and buildable solutions
Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes
Contributing to project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
Experience Required
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 3+ years’ experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy
Working towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE)
Experience in structural design using common materials (steel, concrete, masonry, timber)
Familiarity with structural design software such as TEDDS, Tekla, Robot or similar
Understanding of UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively
Salary & Package
£35-50k (depending on experience)
