OverviewTSR Legal is delighted to present an outstanding leadership opportunity with a well established and growing law firm, now seeking to appoint a Senior Associate / Partner to be based in Cardiff, overseeing its South Wales offices as part of its continued expansion strategy.This is a significant appointment at senior level, with clear potential to progress to Head of Residential. The role offers genuine influence, strategic input and the opportunity to shape and lead a high performing residential property function across multiple offices.The successful candidate will provide strong technical oversight across the residential teams, ensuring compliance, quality control and best practice standards are consistently maintained. You will also manage and support a dedicated post completions team.Whilst this is a leadership focused role, you will maintain a manageable caseload of approximately 40 to 50 residential property matters, including high value technical matters and key clients. A hands on yet strategic approach is essential. Responsibilities
Providing leadership and strategic direction to the South Wales residential property teams Supervising and mentoring fee earners and support staff Overseeing recruitment, performance management and team development Managing post completions function Ensuring strong technical compliance and risk management standards Supporting business development and contributing to wider firm strategy
