Night Concierge (Supported Livining)

The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, working Monday - Sunday on a rota basis covering 10PM - 8AM shifts. Temporary cover is required for approximately 1-2 months possible extension due to performance.
In this position, you will be required to:
- Provide overnight waking cover, ensuring the safety and security of the office base and four supported houses
- Act as the first point of contact for residents during the night, responding to calls on the duty phone with warmth, clarity and reassurance
- Offer emotional containment and practical guidance to residents who may be experiencing anxiety, distress or uncertainty overnight
- Communicate with residents in a respectful, person-centred way that recognises individual experiences and needs
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents, acting in line with local procedures and escalating concerns where required
- Liaise with emergency services and out-of-hours partner agencies, when necessary, always representing the organisation professionally
- Protect the service buildings through regular checks, monitoring of CCTV systems and site visits as required
- Control access to buildings and respond to reports of unwanted visitors or security concerns promptly and proportionately
