We are currently recruiting for Hygiene Operatives to work the night shift at a busy meat production factory. This is a vital role in maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene across our site to ensure food safety and compliance. Position Overview:
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM
6:00 AM Ongoing, full time role Pay: basic rate £12.99 per hour & overtime after first 40 hrs + weekends are time and a half Breaks: 2 x 15-minute paid breaks per shift Key Responsibilities:
Deep cleaning of production equipment, machinery, and factory floors Disassembling and sanitising production line components Using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively Ensuring all hygiene standards and procedures are strictly followed Working in cold and wet environments (PPE provided) Completing hygiene records and checklists accurately Collaborating with the team to meet nightly cleaning targets Requirements:
Previous cleaning or hygiene experience (preferably in a food factory) is desirable but not essential
full training provided Comfortable working night shifts and in a meat production environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness Good understanding of hygiene and safety protocols Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining site hygiene Benefits:
