The Opportunity:

Firstly - this is an opportunity to join a well established, top 100 regional firm that has a well trodden and renowned career development framework on offer to junior lawyers. You will be offered guidance, support and autonomy in good measure and the exposure to high quality work right from the start of your employment.

The role will report into a vastly experienced Planning Partner who has a reputation. The Partner is incredibly knowledgeable, truly a lovely person who is a readily available escalation point when required.

In this role you will have the opportunity to advise clients on planning permission applications, negotiate planning and infrastructure agreements, and provide commercially focused advice on securing and implementing planning permissions.

In addition you will work on large scale development consent orders for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and support the firm's transactional property practice, acting for both private and public sector clients.

The capabilities of our client's Planning team is very broad with strong cross-office collaboration.

This role can be based in either Bristol or Exeter.

What’s needed to be considered?

Qualified Solicitor. Prior experience of Planning (either through a Training Seat or post qualified experience) would be ideal. Although - transferable skills/knowledge established within Real Estate/Development/Energy will be valued and considered. A career minded approach. A keen willingness to contribute to team objectives. Attention to detail.
