Job Description: Nuclear Materials Engineer - Submarines (Full Time, Derby, UK)
A vacancy has arisen for a Nuclear Materials Engineer to join the team at Raynesway, Derby. The Core Materials team develops materials knowledge through testing, research, and development, working closely with manufacturing and design teams. We seek a materials engineer with experience in nuclear materials to support the design and manufacture of Rolls-Royce Nuclear Plant.

Your responsibilities include developing material specifications, defining validation requirements, and advising manufacturing teams on process compliance.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. Desirable skills include safety substantiation, understanding of material degradation, and experience in regulated industries.
