Job Description

AA Euro have been retained by its client to recruit a Nuclear Safety Assessor to support the delivery of safety case documentation across a range of high-profile nuclear projects throughout the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to critical safety work within one of the most highly regulated and safety-conscious industries.


The Role:

  • Prepare clear, concise, and fit-for-purpose nuclear safety cases and supporting documentation under appropriate supervision
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, plant operators, and specialist disciplines including Human Factors, Fire Safety, Criticality, Radiological Shielding, and Environmental Safety
  • Engage professionally with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery and client satisfaction
  • Represent the organisation positively in all interactions with clients, peers, and industry professionals


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in nuclear safety or within a high-hazard industry
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical/Control Engineering
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex safety information effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach to support project delivery in a dynamic working environment
