Job Description
Our Nursery Managers have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the setting. ?
You will develop & maintain a high quality child-centered setting that is in line with the EYFS and any legal requirements.
You willensure that the welfare of the children remains paramount and they are protected from risk of harm.
You will lead, develop and encourage a good working team, providing professional support and guidance to all staff
You will monitor the financial situation of the setting with support from your Line Manager, working within an agreed budget
You will develop and maintain positive relationships with parents carers and work in partnership with them
Essential Qualifications
Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Essential Experience
At least 2 years experience in a childcare setting, working with children aged under 5
Experience in a leadership or management position, supervising staff
Experience of developing and using administrative systems
Experience of managing and organising own workload
