Nursery Practitioner - Reception Class - SEN & ASD - Deptford Primary School

A well-regarded primary school in Deptford is recruiting a skilled Nursery Practitioner to work within a Reception class, supporting children with ASD and additional learning needs. This Nursery Practitioner position is a full-time role with an immediate start.

The successful Nursery Practitioner must be confident and experienced in EYFS, as the role includes covering the class on Mondays in the absence of the class teacher. The Nursery Practitioner will deliver fully planned lessons, ensuring consistency, engagement, and effective classroom management.

As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting learning and development across EYFS

Providing SEN support to children with ASD

Delivering set lessons during class cover on Mondays

Supporting behaviour, routines, and transitions

Acting as a reliable and proactive Nursery Practitioner within the team

To be considered for this Nursery Practitioner role:

EYFS experience is essential

Experience supporting SEN pupils, particularly ASD

Confidence leading a class and delivering lessons

A calm, capable, and adaptable Nursery Practitioner approach
