newly established start-up civil engineering manufacturing company
based in Rotherham, specialising in the production of steel reinforcement components used within concrete and infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business in its early stages of development, where you will play a key role in supporting the setup and day-to-day running of the office and account's function. As an
Office Manager / Accounts Administrator , you will have the chance to make a real impact, helping to shape systems, processes, and administrative standards within a growing company. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office operations within a start-up environment Handle accounts administration including invoicing, purchase orders, and reconciliations Maintain accurate financial and company records Support payroll processes and liaise with external accountants where required Coordinate office supplies, systems, and documentation Assist with scheduling, reporting, and internal communication Provide general administrative support to the wider team Help establish and improve office systems and procedures as the business grows Candidate Profile Previous experience in an Office Manager and/or Accounts role Experience working within a similar industry (manufacturing, construction, or civil engineering) is highly desirable Comfortable working within a
start-up or newly developing business Strong organisational and multitasking skills Good working knowledge of accounting processes and systems Confident communicator with a proactive, hands-on approach Strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities effectively What's on Offer Monday-Friday working hours (7:00am - 4:00pm) Opportunity to join a
