*The Role*
We are seeking a confident, resilient Registered Manager to lead an EBD children’s home supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will provide strong leadership, robust safeguarding oversight, and clear boundaries while creating a stable, nurturing environment. We are seeking a reflective and emotionally intelligent Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic children’s home. The successful candidate will embed trauma-informed practice, therapeutic care models, and psychologically safe environments for both children and staff.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Register with Ofsted and maintain compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
* Lead behaviour support strategies, de-escalation, and positive behaviour management
* Embed safeguarding, risk management, and incident oversight
* Build a consistent staff culture with clear expectations and accountability
* Ensure high-quality care planning, risk assessments, and key work
* Lead Ofsted inspections and continuous improvement planning
*Essential*
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare)
* Experience managing or supervising within an EBD setting
* Strong knowledge of behaviour management, safeguarding, and risk xrlawcv
* Calm, decisive leadership style
*Desirable*
* Experience of improving Requires Improvement/Inadequate services
* Team Teach / MAPA / PMVA knowledge
* Strong understanding of attachment, ACEs, and emotional regulation
* Ability to balance compliance with therapeutic care
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
