Oil Boiler Engineer (Remedial Works - Armagh) Client A superb opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Oil Heating Engineer to join our client, delivering remedial and corrective maintenance works across Education Authority schools and colleges throughout the Armagh region. This is a stable, long-term position within a public-sector contract, offering a 37.5-hour working week, a company van, and consistent, planned work supporting the safe and efficient operation of heating systems in educational environments. The Ideal Person We are keen to speak with engineers who can demonstrate: * OFTEC qualifications (101, 105E, 600A or equivalent) * Experience carrying out remedial repairs on oil boilers, burners, tanks and associated heating systems * Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and maintenance skills * Experience working within FM, public-sector or building services environments * A strong safety focus with the ability to complete accurate job documentation * A full UK driving licence Engineers with both oil and gas experience will be considered highly advantageous. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Completing remedial and corrective works on oil-fired heating systems across schools and colleges * Replacing faulty components, resolving defects and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently * Assisting with tank inspections, burner repairs and control system adjustments * Ensuring all works are carried out in line with OFTEC standards and internal Health & Safety policies * Recording all works accurately and maintaining up-to-date documentation * Working closely with the Contract Manager and helpdesk to deliver a timely and effective service Remuneration * £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience * 37.5-hour working week * Company van and fuel card provided * Company pension scheme * 28 days annual leave including statutory days * Opportunities for additional training and development Benefits: Plus van and fuel allowance
