On-Site AV Technician

AV Operations & Support Work as part of the Global AV break-fix team supporting the clients EMEA AV estate Act as the primary client focal point for all day-to-day AV operational issues and events across EMEA Provide first- and second-line support for AV incidents and service requests Track, route, and redirect AV issues to the appropriate technical resources Escalate unresolved issues in line with client-defined escalation processes Ensure accurate logging, documentation, and timely closure of all support tickets Proactive AV Management Deliver proactive daily AV status updates for all EMEA locations Perform proactive daily equipment checks where required Ensure all AV faults are resolved and maintenance activities are completed Manage proactive checks and preventative maintenance schedules Vendor & Stakeholder Management Liaise with service providers (including Vanti) to coordinate reactive and proactive engineering support across the EMEA AV estate Work closely with on-site and off-site client teams to understand business needs and deliver AV solutions aligned with company goals and vision Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors Documentation, Training & Compliance Update and maintain AV documentation to support new deployments and client directives Deliver client training and advisory services on AV best practices Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation Participate in training courses as required to support continuous professional development Essential Skills & Experience Excellent written communication skills and professional telephone manner Proven experience in AV event technology and production Strong IT skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe applications Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative Exceptional attention to detail Technical Skills Understanding of Q-SYS, Crestron, Ross, and Yamaha systems Familiarity with Logitech AV products Experience using Crestron software, including Crestron Toolbox Understanding of the Microsoft Teams platform and AV integrations
