The Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop our operations across East Sussex.
This is a senior start-up role ideal for a commercially minded healthcare leader who thrives on building services, teams, and systems from the ground up. You will have full responsibility for operational performance, people leadership, compliance, and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership: Oversee hub operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant service delivery. Develop workflows suitable for a growing business.
* People Management: Recruit, onboard, and train care teams. Foster a positive culture, lead performance appraisals, and support staff retention.
* Compliance & Quality: Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and GDPR. Lead audits and risk management frameworks.
* Commercial Performance: Manage budgets and cost control. Drive sales and revenue growth through local market engagement.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, commissioners, and local authorities. Act as a senior ambassador for Falcon Greencare.
* Strategy: Provide insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Essential:
* Proven management experience within healthcare recruitment.
* Experience launching, scaling, or transforming a service.
* Strong business development or sales leadership skills.
* Experience managing budgets and P&L.
* Working knowledge of CQC frameworks and inspections.
* Level 5 Diploma (Registered Manager), equivalent, or the desire to work towards it.
* Resilient, proactive, and IT literate.
