Job Description

We are supporting one of our housing partners to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of responsive repairs, planned investment, voids and disrepair contracts across their housing stock.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for contractor performance, service quality and customer outcomes, ensuring services are compliant, efficient and resident focused.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee responsive repairs, voids, planned investment and legal disrepair services
  • Lead and manage contractor and specialist partner performance
  • Develop strong, long-term partnerships aligned to social housing values
  • Embed effective processes for managing disrepair, damp & mould cases
  • Use data and performance reporting to drive service improvements
  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders at regional and national level

Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience within social housing repairs and maintenance
  • Strong background in planned works, major repairs and responsive services
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across large areas
  • Experience managing significant budgets and contracts
  • Sound knowledge of building regulations, contract law and health & safety

Must have Social Housing experience
