Logistics and Operations Manager\nWest Yorkshire\nFull-time | Permanent\n£50,000 - £55,000 \nBenefits \nBonus\n \nAre you a people-first leader with experience managing logistics and fleet operations ?\n \nWe’re working with a well established, UK wide logistics organisation to find a proactive and hands on Logistics and Operations Manager to join their head office team. \n \nYou'll lead the team responsible for managing drivers and fleet, subcontractor relationships, and day to day resource deployment through a bespoke internal system. You'll collaborate closely with operational leaders to forecast needs, respond to changing demands, and continuously improve workforce efficiency.\n \nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n\nLeading a team of 5+ operational managers \nManaging daily headcount allocation across multiple sites\nManaging a substantial fleet Uk wide. \nOverseeing subcontractor and agency relationships, ensuring service and compliance\nUsing internal tools and systems to support scheduling and resource forecasting\nSupporting the development and implementation of strategy nationwide\nActing as a key stakeholder in service reviews and operational planning \nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nExperience in fleet management, workforce planning, or logistics operations\nStrong leadership and communication skills; confident managing and developing teams\nProven ability to manage agency/subcontractor relationships and performance\nAnalytical and organised, with the ability to forecast, model, and respond to workforce needs\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment with shifting priorities \nIf you feel the role aligns with your experience, we look forward to receiving your application / CV
