This role will be supporting the Operations Manager to lead a team and contribute towards the success of the site.Overview of core responsibilities Leading a team to deliver a successful pick and load operation by working alongside them (80% on shop floor) and leading by example Supporting / conducting daily team briefsPromoting safe systems of work with the team with a safety-first mind set Inspecting, checking and maintaining all warehouse plant and equipment Managing and conducting daily / weekly stock checksEnsuring quality is incorporated into all aspects of your role across pick / despatch / transfers / internal / external deliveriesLiaising with external contacts if required as per the needs of the business e.g. external hauliers and agencies Maximising loads in line with business KPIs while maintaining load weight safety What is needed from the right candidate Forklift licenceGood understanding of computer / transport management systems with a willingness to learn Flexibility to work overtime in busy periodsCompany benefits Private medical insuranceLife insurance of 5 x salaryFree parking on siteEnhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leaveMedicash - payment towards dental and optical treatment, and gym membershipEmployee assistance programmeTo apply either follow the link or alternatively call 01173 258 687.JBRP1_UKTJ
