Due to continued growth our Bardon site are now recruiting for anOperations & Transport Planner on a full time permanent basis. Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours : Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating. As anOperations & Transport Planner you will be responsible forthe movement of Goods in and Goods out of the Warehouse and the Planning of Transport. Key Duties of anOperations & Transport Planner: Coordinatethe flow of Goods, both In and Out of the Warehouse in line with the Production Plan and Order Schedule. Workclosely with 3rd Party Transport providers to monitor, coordinate and execute daily deliveries and collections in line with the inbound and outbound schedule. Load Planning and the allocation of goods to loads. Ensure the smooth planning of inbound stocks, outbound stocks and vehicles present do not exceed the capacity of the site. Ensure that scheduled delivery dates are kept updated and display accurate information on all Systems. Control, Ordering and Reporting of Pallets in line with the Production Plan and Order Schedule to ensure all Orders are fulfilled where possible. Supporting training to allow for site and team growth. Qualifications
Experienced in a Warehouse environment servicing a food related customer or service. Working knowledge of stock administration duties. Experience of working in a customer led environment with changing priorities. Advanced Level Spreadsheet skills and problem analysis. Ability to work on their own and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Additional Information
