Red Recruitment are currently looking for a SteelOperative /Overhead Crane Operator, to work at our steelprocessing company based in the Dudley area of the West Midlands. Our client is a longstandingsteelcompany going through a period of growth due to new contracts. This role will go permanent for the right candidate after a successful trial period. Duties include: Operating overhead cranes to handlesteel Driving counterbalance FLTs Assisting with loading / offloadingsteelon machine lines Banding, packing and palletising stock Due to limited training, applicants must have previous exposure to overhead cranes. This position is working a 3-shift pattern, rotating weekly. Mornings- 06:00 - 14:00 (Mon to Fri) Afternoons: 14:00 - 22:00 (Mon to Thurs) / 14:00 - 18:00 (Fri) 40 hours per week with paid breaks Paying £12.21 on both shifts, rising to £12.71 in April, during training period.
