Job Description

P6 Planning Engineer – Midlands Region

Contract or Permanent £50-75,000 or £500 per day.

Power & Infrastructure Projects

We’re partnering with one of the UK’s leading consultancies delivering major power and infrastructure programmes across the Midlands.

They’re scaling up and need a team of P6 Planning Engineers to keep complex projects on track.

What you’ll be doing:

Building, maintaining, and analysing detailed project schedules in Primavera P6

Working closely with Project Managers, Cost, and Risk teams to drive performance

Supporting critical path analysis, earned value tracking, and progress reporting

Bringing structure, foresight, and control to high-value projects in the power sector

What you’ll bring:

Strong planning experience on infrastructure or power projects (Transmission, Distribution, Energy, or Utilities ideal)

Advanced skills in Primavera P6

Solid understanding of project controls, interfaces, and reporting cycles

Confidence to work client-side or within a consultancy delivery team
