Packing Operative

Salary: £13.45 an hour
Shift: Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive products for packaging and ensure they meet quality standards.
· Part-mark components using electro-etch and perform ultrasonic inspections as required.
· Package and label products accurately.
· Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
· Report any concerns promptly to the Manager.
· Work flexibly within the team, supporting and training colleagues when needed.
· Assist in the despatch area to ensure external packing meets customer specifications.
What We’re Looking For:
· Minimum GCSE (Grade C or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science.
· Experience working to quality and customer standards.
· Ability to consistently meet high standards.
· Self-motivated and adaptable team player.
· Ability to read and interpret batch cards accurately.
· Working knowledge of computerised systems and ERP software
