An average day as a Bodyshop Panel Beater…

• You will have the ability to carry out all panel beater repair work efficiently, on a full range of vehicles.
• Ensure that all equipment used, to include jigs, fixtures and welding equipment is operated in accordance with define safety requirements.
• Follow written instructions effectively from job cards and demonstrate knowledge of repairing or replacing bodywork panels of damaged vehicles this will include chassis and framework.
• Continually checking vehicle repair work ensuring there are no defects including quarter panels, filler work, stripping a vehicle down and rebuilding it.
• Ensuring body components are repaired and replaced to damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition and to Kitemark BS10125 and manufacturer' standards.

About you…

• Relevant panel qualifications- IMI 3, NVQ 3, or ATA Panel Beater Accreditation desirable but not essential.
• You will have experience in a similar Bodyshop environment.
• You will have strong time management and organisational skills.
• You will have a working knowledge of H&S responsibilities.
