Paraplanner

Job Description

Fram Search is working with a Chartered financial planning firm with offices across the UK. Due to internal movement within the team, they are looking to engage with a Level 4 qualified paraplanner to support one of their high-performing advisers on a one-to-one basis. This is a well-respected firm known for the quality of its advice and its strong internal culture, and the role offers the chance to work closely with an experienced adviser whose clients typically have around £1 million in investable assets. The firm provides advice across a wide range of areas, including complex planning and cashflow modelling. The role is hybrid, with two days a week in the office.

This opportunity may appeal to a career paraplanner who values variety and depth in their work and who enjoys the collaborative process of working alongside a successful adviser. The position involves preparing for meetings, attending client meetings where required, and producing high-quality, compliant suitability reports across a range of planning areas including inheritance tax, cashflow forecasting, pensions, investments, VCTs, and EIS. The paraplanner would act as a technical sounding board for the adviser, help maintain consistency across the wider team, and contribute to the ongoing development of the firm’s financial planning approach.

We are keen to speak with individuals who are Level 4 qualified through CII or CISI and who have experience working in an IFA or wealth management environment. While knowledge of areas such as cashflow modelling, VCTs, and EIS would be useful, it is not essential. What matters most is solid paraplanning experience, a clear and logical writing style, and a client-first approach. Experience with systems such as Intelligent Office would be advantageous. For those interested in progressing further, there is support available toward Chartered status.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
