Part-Time Finance Director (2 Days per Week | Hybrid) £70,000 – £90,000 pro rata (DOE)

Our client is an established, design led retail business experiencing strong and sustained growth are now seeking a commercially astute, hands-on Finance Director to join on a part-time basis (2 days per week). This is a newly created role offering genuine strategic influence, working closely with the Founder and senior leadership team to ensure the business remains financially robust while continuing its ambitious growth journey.

The Role

* Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and long-term modelling

* Oversee monthly management accounts, reporting, accruals and balance sheet control

* Manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring clear visibility and control

* Strengthen financial controls, governance and scalable finance processes

* Act as a strategic commercial partner to the Founder and senior leadership team

The Candidate

Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with senior finance experience in an SME environment. A background in retail or creative, product-led businesses — particularly those that have grown rapidly from a small base — would be highly advantageous.

You will bring strong commercial acumen, strategic capability, and a willingness to operate hands-on within a growing entrepreneurial environment.
