Your Impact as a Parts Purchasing Manager:
As the dedicated Purchasing Manager for Iveco Parts, you will be instrumental in optimising inventory and ensuring seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include:
*
Leading the purchasing and inventory management of Iveco Parts using the manufacturer's system (PRIM).
*
Evaluating PRIM Stock Order proposals and confirming Group requirements.
*
Maintaining 'housekeeping' procedures to ensure healthy stock records and controlling obsolescence through reporting and guidance.
*
Managing intercompany transfers of parts based on demand and overstock.
*
Handling manual proposals and ordering of PRIM excluded products, and managing Iveco Buyback requests.
*
Achieving Customer Excellence Programme targets for PRIM Acceptance, De-stocking, and Service Level.
*
Monitoring and reporting on Surcharge/Core returns and status.
*
Managing the ordering and distribution of specific Key Account parts requirements.
*
Responding to both internal and external customers' requests and concerns, ensuring top-tier service for HGV and Commercial Vehicles.
What we're looking for:
To excel as a Parts Purchasing Manager in this role, you will need:
*
Previous experience in purchasing or inventory management, preferably within the automotive industry.
*
A strong understanding of automotive parts and their applications, particularly for HGV and Commercial Vehicles.
*
Familiarity with Keyloop application and processes, and other purchasing/inventory management software.
*
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, with Power BI ability being advantageous.
*
A willingness to learn and assist in unfamiliar territory, a team-player attitude, and a flexible approach to working patterns and travel.
*
Self-motivation and a drive for continuous improvement.
