Job Description

Part-Time Finance Manager | TV and Film | London/Hybrid

The Role

As Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of all day-to-day finance processes, working closely with Directors (with the support of a talented Financial Controller, COO, and Head of Finance) to produce management accounts, royalty reports, forecasts and ad hoc financial insights. The role combines hands-on accounting with stakeholder interaction, providing accurate and timely information to support commercial and creative decision-making.

You’ll be responsible for delivering monthly management accounts with commentary, preparing year-end audit packs, managing payments and reconciliations, and ensuring financial controls are maintained. Alongside this, you will produce quarterly forecasts and cashflows, oversee VAT returns, and ensure accurate royalty calculations and reporting for rights holders. You’ll also oversee revenue and royalty reporting for their digital and licensing products—so an understanding of revenue recognition, commissions, royalties, and licensing for digital content is a major plus.

This is a part-time role with 3 working days per week expected. 1-2 of these days would be in-office.

Note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the view to make permanent.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting commentary on performance and variances
  • Develop quarterly forecasts, cashflows and variance analysis alongside senior stakeholders

  • Submit quarterly VAT returns and support animation tax relief claims
  • Maintain accurate timesheets for project reporting
  • Ad hoc tasks to support the wider group

  • Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant
