We are recruiting a Pastry chef for our client in London which is one the reputed and busy restaurants.
You will work for 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation & Production: Preparing a wide range of items, including cakes, cookies, pies, breads, ice creams, sorbets, chocolates, and other confectionery.
Presentation & Decoration: Ensuring the aesthetic appeal of desserts and pastries through various decorating techniques and presentation styles.
Inventory & Ordering: Managing ingredient levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a budget for the pastry section.
Team Management: May train, supervise, and mentor junior chefs or kitchen staff within the pastry section.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaboration: Working closely with other kitchen staff, including the head chef and sous chefs, to coordinate dessert production and menu planning
