Location: Hybrid, office based in Luton

We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Payroll team in Luton. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring payroll data is managed accurately and submitted on time, helping us support our people across the organisation.

As Payroll Administrator, you will be:

* Inputting new starter information into the payroll system and processing leavers and relevant tax forms (e.g. P45s, P60s)

* Managing weekly payrolls for over 9,000 employees and handling payroll queries

* Reconciling wage accounts and processing wage journals

* Carrying out payroll calculations such as maternity, paternity, sickness, and pensions

* Liaising with HMRC and sending required information

* Preparing and uploading Auto Enrolment reports (Excel) to our workplace pension provider

As Payroll Administrator, you will have:

* Experience working in a payroll team (around 2 years is helpful, but not essential)

* Strong communication skills, the ability to work well with people at all levels and a friendly and approachable manner

* Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills

* The ability to manage multiple tasks and be confident working to deadlines

* A flexible and collaborative approach to working in a small team

* Resilience and adaptability in a growing and evolving organisation
